Delhi Construction Worker Yojana
The government of Delhi has started a special Delhi Pravasi Majdur Sahayata Yojana for the poor construction workers who are unable to earn money from anywhere due to lockdown prevailing in the country. The registration process will start on the official website of Delhi on 15 May. Arvind Kejriwal’s government of Delhi has announced a compensation of Rs 5000 for the purpose of providing financial assistance to construction workers at the time of coronavirus infection.
All permanent residents of Delhi can register for the Delhi Construction Worker Yojana from 15 May to 25 May. The Delhi government has launched a portal https://www.edistrict.delhigovt.nic.in/ where applicants can register and renew their applications. For the registration, applicants should have Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, and Residential certificate. Also, Applicants should have Labor registration proof.
